How To Install Applocale On Windows 7

Hello. I've downloaded the latest version of AppLocale utility from Microsoft server, and I'g unable to install it.

Windows Installer opens up with usual "Preparing to install.." message, and and then a warning message box appears:
Another version of this product is already installed. Installation of this version cannot go on. To configure or remove the existing version of this product, apply Add/Remove Programs on the Control Panel.

Of course, it wouldn't be a problem if it was true; simply applocale was never installed on this computer, so neither Add/Remove Programs nor msicuu.exe could help me directly.

I guess that some other plan was installed with the same (something)ID, but I'k not very knowledgeable in this field; help appreciated.

I have an English Windows XP Pro SP2, with latest Windows Installer.

Problem solved itself. I've played around with msiexec repair/uninstall options, they failed BUT some of them failed with unability to discover another MSI package, for Microsoft SMS sender. I've uninstalled the latter and then AppLocale installation run smoothly.

I'yard amased at the fact that (apparently) two Microsoft products have gone into a Product Code collision. But well, the problem is solved.
